To give the ASL a more modern look and feel, Valken has incorporated a billet-type receiver. The Valken ASL airsoft electric gun also has an ambidextrous magazine release and selection lever to allow for left-handed or offhand use. The anti-reversal latch access port on the right side of the receiver on the MOD-M airsoft rifle allows users to unlock gearbox jams without having to open the gearbox. Any Valken 9.6v NiMh airsoft battery or 7.4v Lipo airsoft battery with a small Tamiya connector is recommended. The Valken ASL AEG rifles come with a full complement of durable internal parts.
